The formation that led to Salus Medical Training

As a mother to 4 rambunctious and accident-prone boys and an aunt to more nieces and nephews than one can count on both hands, Lauren is always ready and prepared for any emergency. Well, almost any! Many life-threatening emergencies occur far away from hospitals and medical professionals, so training as many people as possible on emergency medical care is imperative. In fact, Lauren's background as a Registered Medical Assistant and a Certified CPR Instructor assisted her in saving many lives. One of the most memorable moments was saving her nephew's life when he was choking. On another occasion, a friend's son went into anaphylactic shock during a routine outing, and she calmly initiated the emergency response protocol.

While we cannot prevent all accidents, we can change the outcome with the proper training and preventative action plan.

Over 12 years of experience

Lauren has been a leader in academia and higher education for over 12 years. She is proud to have earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and a Master's degree in Public Health Promotion and Education. As an Allied Health instructor, she has taught students of all ages and received the National Master Teacher Award, recognized by ABHES, the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, and Elsevier. Primarily her focus in learning and teaching is on health and safety, CPR, medical assisting, phlebotomy, accreditation standards, and curriculum development.

The student experience is Lauren's passion and priority. Her goal is to empower all students to not only digest the material but also be able to apply it in real-life situations. Lauren's mission is to provide life-long, life-saving tools to all people from all walks of life.
